| Eastern Kentucky University offers exciting online programs in Safety, Security & Emergency Management with program concentrations and certifications in Occupational Safety, Homeland Security, and Fire & Emergency Services. The master's degree program is designed to be completed in just two years with part-time study, giving students the flexibility to maintain their current jobs and responsibilities. Programs are a natural continuation for those already working in security, safety, insurance, fire, and human resources and offers students specialized skills through research and other scholarly activities. The interactive format provides students all the benefits of an on-campus education without the inconvenience of traveling to the university.

Admissions:
Prospective students must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 overall grade point average. They also must have a specified minimum GRE or Miller Analogies Test score.
Financial Aid:
The EKU financial aid office has counselors that can help each student maximize their aid sources. Aid programs include loans, grants, and scholarships, including a scholarship specifically offered to students of the College of Justice and Safety.
Career Services:
Career services offered to students include EKU's e-Recruiting program, which offers a variety of online job searching tools.
Acrediation: Both the regional and professional accreditation makes our school's credits and earned degree transferable. When you graduate from our program you will be ready and eligible to continue your education for a higher degree such as Master's programs at all accredited colleges and universities.
The BSRS program is offered through the Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences which is regionally accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, 1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia 30033-4097, 404-679-4500.
